We have a revised look, a little more power, and new software\/features! BMW gave this model a couple more HP and the 60* throttle (new for 2025). Utilizing our decade of experience and research with the BMW platform has helped us develop the 2025 S1000R Stage 1 Flash. US and European model S1000R’s have been restricted from the factory, with the US models having some of the worst restrictions we have ever seen on a BMW liter bike.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003chr\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e\n What's Being Restricted\n\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n  Throttle Restriction - Throttle is restricted and has a lazy feel on tip-in with power loss of power in certain gears \/ RPMs\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n  Exhaust Valve - Restricted to keep quieter, which results in power loss\n  \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n  Fueling - The BMW S1000R fueling is set rich from the factory and needs adjustment\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n  Heat Management - The S1000R feels hot and runs hot\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003chr\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e\n What We Do To Fix These Issues\n\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n  Throttle Restriction - We remove the factory throttle restrictions across the board to give you the riding experience and power you wanted off the showroom floor\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n  Exhaust Valve - We still utilize the stock exhaust valve to give you maximum power but also open it up when you need to make peak power gains. This also gives the bike a more robust sound with the factory exhaust\n  \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n  Fueling - Using our full-time closed loop feature (BT Moto Exclusive) we program the S1000R to target a better AFR (Air\/Fuel Ratio) to make a little more power along with fixing drivability and idle issues. This means the bike self-tunes as long as the factory sensors are still installed.\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n  Heat management - We turn the fans on early and adjust the fueling to a proper ratio to make for a cooler running, more consistent bike.\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n  Please note: Our stage 1 tuning is certified 50 state legal by CARB EO D-868. As of July 2025, we no longer offer extended rev limiter options on stage 1 tuning. Stage 1 is designed to for OEM dealer level serviceability and to abide by BMW's warranty standards.
