Being able to use our standard issue handheld tuner allows for multiple maps and the ability to go back to stock at any point, all without mailing your ECU in. The factory file has a “dead spot”\n  \u003cspan\u003e\n   on the top end that kills the bikes power curve when it should be making the most\n\u003c\/span\u003e\n  . This also means any kind of straight line acceleration also suffers. We remove these factory restrictions to ensure a smooth and predictable throttle, all the way to redline.\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e\n   LOWER FAN-ON TEMP -\n\u003c\/strong\u003e\n  Let’s face it, this bike rides a little on the hot side. To help not only the rider's enjoyment but also to keep the engine slightly cooler, we've lowered the fan-on temps.\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e\n   INCREASED RPM LIMITER (at customer request) -\n\u003c\/strong\u003e\n  The stock RPM limiter is set to 11,000 RPM. We have been testing 11,600 RPM with zero negative side effects. We set the RPM limiter for 11,600 RPM in all gears. ZX14s with ecu # 21175-11xx and higher ecus are covered under our OBD flash tool, 07xx ecus are not.\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n  Due to the sensitive nature of the ZX-14R's AFR (air\/fuel ratio) and the platforms almost endless aftermarket options, the file we deliver will be safe you may need the fueling to be adjusted to meet your bikes individual needs.
