The 15-19 Yamaha R1 is probably the bike we get emailed about tuning the most (besides the 20+), so we decided to take it on in 2020. Having a massive customer and fanbase makes this bike incredibly popular. Your requests helped our tuning become a priority at our headquarters in Massachusetts. At the same time, the R1 isn't a new platform; it's an addition to our tuning lineup. Pretty heavy restrictions are imposed on the 15-19 R1, so we decided to make tuning for it. It shares a lot of similarities with the 2020+ R1.

ADVANTAGES WITH BT MOTO

• Moderate low to mid range, and BIG TOP-END POWER GAINS ( UP TO + 30 HP AT PEAK RPM )
• Throttle revised and mapped for better on/off response, eliminating the twitchiness of the factory bike
• Fully mapped A to Z on our in-house dyno and development bikes for all fuels
• Fully De-restricted throttle limiter to 100% from 60%
• Adjusted fueling to an optimal AFR with stock or aftermarket exhaust systems
• Optimized ignition mapping for more power but still well-within safety parameters
  
• RPM limit increased to 14,500 upon request
• Cooling fan activation adjusted from 216 degrees F to 195 degrees F to keep the engine cooler
• Quickshifter and auto blipper adjustments to be used at lower and higher RPM’s when needed at the track
• Traction control settings modified for faster lap times on aggressive tires
• Launch control adjustments for better race starts
• Top speed limiter removed
• 50 State Legal tested
